David M. Kennedy, owner and founder of Kennedy’s Arboriculture LLC, is an ASCA (American Society of Consulting Arborists)- Registered Consulting Arborist^© #439 and practicing ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) - Certified Arborist^® OH 900. He possesses a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Ohio State University.  Mr. Kennedy has broad experience in all aspects of arboriculture and is a skilled diagnostician. He is a skilled tree climber and is licensed by the State of Ohio Department of Agriculture as a Commercial Applicator.

Mr. Kennedy founded Kennedy’s Arboriculture LLC in 2001 to fill the local void in biological based, scientific tree care. The business has grown significantly in the 22 years it has existed and is a full-service tree maintenance company, serving a long list of commercial, municipal and residential clients. Kennedy’s Arboriculture is a tree preservation company, only removing trees when absolutely necessary. We safely manage trees that other proprietors condemn. 

Kennedy’s Arboriculture acts as a fiduciary for each of our clients, considering their specific concerns, desires and interests in the forefront. We pride ourselves on customer service and value the personal relationships we develop and maintain with each of our clients.

Kennedy’s Arboriculture is uniquely positioned in tree consulting, acting as an expert witness for the legal community as well as serving numerous, municipal, corporate and residential clients. 

Mr. Kennedy is a lifelong biologist, uniquely positioned to serve our clients’ needs due to his years of experience in such a capacity as an employee for several corporations and multiple government agencies.

Kennedy’s Arboriculture is a proud member of the American Society of Consulting Arborists (ASCA), the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), and the National Arbor Day Foundation (NADF).

Kennedy’s Arboriculture professional staff routinely attends educational seminars and workshops on subjects such as Tree Risk Assessment, Tree Appraisal, Building Around Trees, Trees and Utilities, Expert Witness/Litigation Consulting, and Plant Health Care. Continuing education is a mandatory component to maintain competency and to fulfill continuing education requirements.
